Meet Our Physiotherapist
Leslee Watt
Leslee Watt is the Natural Way Physiotherapist. Come in, and meet Leslee for a session. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Leslee earned Bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Physiotherapy at the University of Manitoba. She’s worked in all types of settings, including post-surgical, neurological, persistent pain, and orthopedics, and punctuates her treatments with techniques such as acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, and myofascial release.
In addition to being a Physiotherapist, Leslee has worked as a yoga instructor, retreat leader, and college instructor for the department of massage therapy at Camosun College. Truly a teacher at heart, her aim is to increase physical literacy in her clients by offering simple ways to understand physiology, exercise, diagnoses, and healing.

Cheryl Salverda
Cheryl Salverda comes to Natural Way with over 37 years of experience in the physiotherapy field. Born and raised in Prince Albert, SK, Cheryl earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, SK. She has worked in a variety of settings in multiple locations including acute care and rehabilitation hospitals and private practice clinics, caring for patients of all ages.
Whether you have an acute injury, have had surgery, or are suffering from a chronic condition or pain, Cheryl’s physiotherapy care includes a detailed assessment to identify the source of pain, injury or dysfunction, followed by treatment that may include manual therapy techniques, dry needling and therapeutic exercise prescription. Cheryl strongly believes in providing her patients with education and the tools and strategies for self-management of their condition.
When she is not practicing physiotherapy, Cheryl enjoys cycling, walking and hiking in the summer and cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. She also enjoys travel and spending time with family and friends.

What does a typical Physiotherapy session look like?
Your
physiotherapist will assess your injury through a thorough history and physical
exam, including range of
motion examination and special tests followed by treatment and rehabilitative
exercises. Treatment can include manual therapies, acupuncture, myofascial
release, craniosacral techniques, customized therapeutic exercise and more. The initial assessment appointment is 50
Minutes and follow-up appointments are 40 minutes.
