THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF HEALTH
MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Kale Matovich
As a child, Dr. Kale was hit by a car while riding his bike. After many months in the hospital and years spent recovering, he realized he had a passion for finding ways to maximize health. He changed his diet, became interested in exercise and physical fitness, and did anything else he could think of to optimize his health; therefore, allowing him to live his healthiest life.
Like most people, Dr. Kale didn’t know very much about the power of chiropractic care and how much it can help you maintain a healthy life. He also wasn’t looking for it, because he felt great! He felt so good that he was competing in many sports at a very high level. He felt he was doing so well, looking into chiropractic care didn’t feel like a necessity.
Suddenly, that all changed when he experienced a significant health crisis when he was in university. After months of looking for help from healthcare professionals and not getting any better, he finally went to see a chiropractor and he was AMAZED at the results!
The health issue Dr. Kale had been dealing with could be traced back to the car accident injuries he had suffered from many years earlier. Once he started receiving chiropractic care, not only did his current issues resolve quickly but he also began to feel so much better than he ever had before. To this day, routine chiropractic care continues to be the solid foundation that allows Dr. Kale to live his healthiest life!
Dr. Kale was so impressed by how chiropractic care had helped him, that he realized he wanted to become a chiropractor! The only thing left to do was graduate from school. He completed his undergraduate degree in sciences from the University of Calgary in 1993, and then graduated with honours from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in the San Francisco Bay area in 1998. He wanted to share the message of natural health and healing and decided the best way to do that was by founding Natural Way Chiropractic. Which he did, 9 months later, in 1999.
He loves the ability to inspire his practice members, young and old, and with all kinds of different lifestyles, to live their healthiest life.
Being a lifelong athlete, in his free time, Dr. Kale loves participating in mountain biking, skiing, canoeing, adventure racing and pretty much anything else as long as someone is there with him. He also is very close with his family and enjoys spending time with them. He loves being able to pursue his career in his hometown of Calgary.
Dr. Elaine Keenan
Dr. Elaine Keenan grew up being told not to see a chiropractor, so she didn’t. Once she moved from Toronto to Marda Loop in 2007, she took a job at Natural Way Chiropractic.
“Working at Natural Way Chiropractic is when my eyes were opened to what chiropractic care truly is, what it is all about and how much it can help people.” Dr. Elaine remembers seeing the amazing results the practice members were having and it piqued her interest in chiropractic care as a career.
Once she realized all that chiropractic care could do, Dr. Elaine was drawn to it because it gave her the opportunity to help people reach their full health potential. She loved that she was able to help practice members improve their quality of life naturally, WITHOUT the use of drugs or surgery.
Once enrolled in school, Dr. Elaine thoroughly enjoyed learning various chiropractic techniques and spent every minute studying to learn everything she possibly could. She loved every minute of her time in school learning all about chiropractic care! She soon graduated magna cum laude and class valedictorian from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Elaine understands the importance of education and our bodies’ innate ability to heal itself from the inside out, this is why she focuses on the patient’s best healing. With every practice member, she strives to help people not only achieve their best health by educating them but also help change the way they think about their health so they can live their healthiest life!
In her free time, Dr. Elaine enjoys staying active by skiing, dancing, hiking, playing tennis and learning how to golf. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter. She embraces all of Calgary and enjoys the beauty of the mountains.
Dr. Patricia Kimak
Dr. Patricia Kimak did not see a chiropractor until she was already in University completing her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta. When she decided to start chiropractic care, she didn’t start for a specific reason but for overall health and wellness.
After graduating with her undergraduate degree, she attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California where she learned about the nervous system, its healing potential, and its ability to adapt.
“Expanding people’s minds on the wellness approach to healthcare is one of my top priorities. Educating people to think differently and take control of their health is essential to helping people live happier, healthier lives.”
Dr. Patricia continues to live a holistic lifestyle outside of Natural Way Chiropractic. In her free time, she loves to stay active by working out, taking hikes, running with her dog and, now, she absolutely cannot wait to take advantage of all the awesome outdoor activities Calgary has to offer!
